About Prince George’s County Maryland Chapter Norfolk State University Alumni Association

About the Alumni Association
Norfolk State University Alumni Association (NSUAA) is comprised of the national officers (president, 1st vice-president, 2nd vice president, secretary, treasurer, chaplain, parliamentarian, and past president), current chapter presidents and five directors at large.  The association is a separate entity from the Office of Alumni Relations.  The Prince George’s County Maryland Chapter (PGCMDC) is one of 24 active chapters nationwide.

Purpose
NSUAA was established to organize the alumni of NSU, to develop and encourage interest, and to promote the educational objectives and activities of NSU by providing an organization through which alumni of the University may:
  • Assist the University in its efforts to obtain public and private support
  • Communicate with alumni and friends in support of the University, and
  • Assist the University in recruitment and retention of students, and the development of career opportunities
Some might ask, “What will I get out of an NSUAA membership?”  Well, you will get a host of things such as:
 

Email Forwarding
Simplify your online life by signing up for your free permanent NSU e-mail address.  By registering for this service, you will no longer have to live with the e-mail address issued to you by your Internet Service provider or have your address change each time you switch providers.

Diploma Frames
Church Hill Classics custom designs and handcrafts diploma frames specifically for Norfolk State University.  Trust them to frame and preserve your most important achievements.  A portion of all sales is donated to Norfolk State University for general support of University programs.


NSUAA Member BENEFITS
